1. Number of children, who suffered from criminal acts

In the picture below, you can see the changing number of children in Lithuania, who suffered from criminal acts, in the period of year 2006 - 2010 (according to the data, provided by Information Technology and Communications Department under the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania). The diagram reflects, that the number of children, that are officially registered to suffer from criminal acts, reduces each year in Lithuania.

2. Number of children, who suffered from criminal acts: distribution by sex

The majority of registered victims, who suffered from criminal acts, are boys. In year 2009 in Lithuania the number of boy victims was more then twice greater, than the number of girl victims (according to the data, provided by Information Technology and Communications Department under the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania).

3. Number of children, who suffered from criminal acts: distribution by age

The greatest number of victims, registered in year 2009, were 16-17 years old. The smallest number registered is about children who are less than 2 years old (according to the data, provided by Information Technology and Communications Department under the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania).

4.    Harm caused during criminal acts

During the majority of criminal acts, registered in year 2009, children suffered physical abuse and material damage. The smallest number of victims suffered from child neglect (according to the data, provided by Information Technology and Communications Department under the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania).

5. Relationship between the child and abuser
 
In the picture below you can see, that the majority of children suffered from stranger abusers in year 2009. The smallest number of children suffered from caregivers or teachers (according to the data, provided by Information Technology and Communications Department under the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania).
